A Star Is Born

A young couple on a park bench shared a blanket woven for one.

They were shielded from the chill in the night air by the comfort of their mutual love and devotion.

"That one" he said, pointing skyward. "There, just to the left of Orion's belt" he continued.

"That will be our star. Whenever we're apart we can always look to the heavens and know that the other is there and our love will last forever."

He pulled her even closer. She nodded with loving approval and rested her head on his shoulder.

They shared the moment in silence and soon departed.

At 40,000 ft Transatlantic flight 214 continued on its way across a clear night sky.
