Pieces

I am 62 years old and I know less this year than I did last year. History repeats itself and this trend has been happening for a long time.

Last year some things I believed to be true I now know are not true. Some people would disagree with me and say that I know more because I now know something more about what I thought I knew. That's not true. Think of it as a math problem and take one thing and subtract one thing from it. You end up with nothing. You have less I tell you. It seems to me that if you end up with a piece of nothing and you don't fill it with something that you know, you may let it go and how many pieces of nothing are you prepared to let go before they all catch up with you and you become like them, a piece of nothing.
