Barzan On Publishing

Barzan's work had been rejected 17 times by publishers. Even a haiku of his the tattoo artist refused to ink on his skin.

The only alternative remaining for him was self-publishing, but to Barzan self-publication was the same as masturbation: neither counted. Besides being unpublished he was also unemployed.

Graffiti was the original form of self-publishing. But it was vandalism. Still...

The muses bit him on the ass, then kicked it, propelling him to a dank underpass. There he spray-painted white eight-inch letters: "This is not graffiti."
