Happy Days Are Here Again
Scientists invented a 1,000-megaton Happy Bomb.
Newspapers reported, "This bomb will vaporize buildings within a thousand mile radius. If anybody survives, they'll laugh madly."
They tested the bomb on a bug-infested, volcanic island. Only cockroaches survived.
Though roaches are always depressed, the explosion caused them to laugh madly for 6 months without letup. They had so much fun, they stole the remaining bombs and set off another on their island. This time they laughed for 24 months straight.
Now, altruistic roaches want to share their happiness. Tomorrow, they'll detonate their stockpile of happy bombs over every nation on Earth to eliminate human sadness, forever.
