Toby reviewed the images on his screen. Flicking from photo to photo, he noticed something was wrong with the occasional shot. Under magnification, he realized that some photos had a strange opaqueness to them. He checked the photos against those to the left and right of the thumbnail; mostly taken from the same angle, with the same light, the others did not exhibit this opaqueness. Confused, Toby zoomed in to 100% magnification, then closer still. He had to rule out lens aberration; was there something wrong with the camera itself? He examined the EXIF data on each opaque shot and saw that each one was shot at f/7.1. That had to be it. What the fuck was f/7.1 all about?
