"I love it when it rains," she sighed, playing with a strand of hair that had slipped out of her ponytail.
"Yeah, I know." He murmured, dropping one hand off of the steering wheel and resting it on the gear shift.
She paused for a moment, thinking. "What do you mean you know?"
"I know you love the rain." He looked over at her.
"Oh." She smiled to herself. "I do."
The two sat in silence, watching the wipers swish the water back and forth across the windshield. She turned toward the window for a moment, looking out at the other cars. With each breath, she clouded the glass then watched it fade.
