Welcome to Postcard Shorts!

Feeling creative? Got something to say? A story to tell? Let it all out, publish it here!

Submit a short story, about 250 words long. As much as you could more or less fit on a postcard.

The inspiration for this site comes from Arthur C. Clarke's short story called "Quarantine", which in turn arose because of an original idea of George Hay, who was an editor of a science fiction magazine. You can read more about it, and the story Quarantine, here.

Quarantine appeared in Isaac Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine, First Issue, Vol 1, No. 1, Spring 1977.

Although a work of science fiction was the inspiration, this site is not intended only for sci fi, it welcomes any type of story you choose to dream up.

Enjoy!
